HCI Hits the Road in 2017 at Hospitality Shows in Birmingham and Glasgow
For HCI, the New Year kicked off with a lot of excitement surrounding our participation at the 2017 Great Hospitality Show at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham.
This year’s event on January 23-25 saw record attendance and participants were optimistic about the British hospitality industry in the year head.In total, over 1,000 interior designers and architects attended the show, the most ever. And that stellar attendance was backed up by the attendance of 2,500 senior hospitality and food service directors from around the UK. Everybody wanted to see what was new in 2017.
For HCI, these events are always a great chance to showcase how we are a true one-stop company for any company’s hard furnishing needs — including tables, chairs, beds and flooring.
In addition to our high-quality hard furnishings that we’ve been showing for years at the event, we also had a chance to showcase our new and innovative Wood Effect and Flexi Chairs, which continue to draw rave reviews. From the outside, the chairs look completely like wood chairs, but they’re actually made of aluminum! They don’t bend or chip, and best of all, they won’t break the budget.
We also received fantastic feedback on our new fantastic range of bed models. The next time you visit a hotel in a city like London or Birmingham, you might be sleeping on one of our beds and not even know it! The new beds all part of our strategy of continually expanding our range beyond tables and chairs, giving buyers unrivalled choice and flexibility.
We’re looking forward to building on this momentum by taking part in another UK hospitality showcase, this time in Glasgow. The ScotHot event on March 15 combines the best in Scottish hospitality and tourism. It’s easily the biggest hospitality trade show of its kind in Scotland, and always a highlight of our spring exhibition circuit.
This year, over 200 exhibitors and companies will join us in Glasgow. There’s always a chance to learn something new, and we hope to take our new chairs and beds and introduce them to some leading Scottish hospitality brands. It’s shaping up to be a fun, whirlwind event, filled with networking, food and drink over 2 days. If you happen to be in Glasgow on March 15-16, be sure to stop by the event!
